BECOME CERTIFIED IN TAI CHI
Join founder and instructor of Qigong Infused Yoga, Lynne Nicole Smith, and president of The Somatic Coaching Academy, Brian Trzaskos, for a weeklong tai chi certification program.
Developed by Dr. Roger Jahnke and designed for all ages and fitness levels, Tai Chi Easy has been disseminated widely by the Institute of Integral Qigong and Tai Chi. This gentle yet powerful method simplifies traditional tai chi movements and medical qigong to offer a step-by-step guide that can be shared in communities, schools, hospitals, social service agencies, military programs, and more.
Experience, practice, and lead tai chi instruction as you gain firsthand knowledge of its evidence-based benefits, such as stress reduction, improved focus, and enhanced overall well-being. You will:
- Learn simplified forms that promote healing, balance, flexibility, and relaxation.
- Discover how to synchronize your breath with movement to enhance energy flow and calm the mind.
- Experience the meditative aspect of tai chi, helping you cultivate inner peace and presencing.
- Enhance circulation and promote overall well-being by soothing muscles and relieving tension.
Upon completion of the training, you will have the skills and confidence to lead a 30–60-minute session designed for individuals of all abilities. This certification program is a also great complement for yoga and meditation teachers who want to weave tai chi into their classes.

This Friday class is fun, relaxing and energizing at the same time. It's a way of taking care of your health among a caring community of people in a gentle and safe way. You will also learn tools that you can use outside of class to improve your physical, mental and emotional well-being.
In Qigong, we call it accessing our "HEALER WITHIN."CLASS WILL INCLUDE
- Fun Whole Body Tapping to improve blood circulation.
- Breathing exercises that both energize and relax the body and mind.
- Shaking like a tree to release trauma and loosen up the whole body.
- Walking meditation to feel more present, grounded and focused.
- Soothing movements to lubricate the joints.
- Light stretching to improve flexibility and range of motion.
- Calming QIGONG forms with multiple benefits.
- Energizing forms like The Healing Sounds and more!
- Self-applied Massage Techniques to relieve chronic pain that you can do any time.
