Kickstart your health and healing journey with the practice of Qigong. Self-care is so important to stay resilient, healthy and at peace in our lives. Qigong is a powerful and effective way to cultivate RESILIENCE, HEALTH AND PEACE...among many other benefits.

This Friday class is fun, relaxing and energizing at the same time. It's a way of taking care of your health among a caring community of people in a gentle and safe way. You will also learn tools that you can use outside of class to improve your physical, mental and emotional well-being.

 In Qigong, we call it accessing our "HEALER WITHIN."CLASS WILL INCLUDE

  • Fun Whole Body Tapping to improve blood circulation.
  • Breathing exercises that both energize and relax the body and mind.
  • Shaking like a tree to release trauma and loosen up the whole body.
  • Walking meditation to feel more present, grounded and focused.
  • Soothing movements to lubricate the joints.
  • Light stretching to improve flexibility and range of motion.
  • Calming QIGONG forms with multiple benefits.
  • Energizing forms like The Healing Sounds and more!
  • Self-applied Massage Techniques to relieve chronic pain that you can do any time.
  • Meditation and Closing Poem...inspiration for your day and week ahead.

Join us for a down-to-earth experience that promotes well-being with an outdoor mind-body practice that can be a haven for relieving physical, mental, and emotional tension. It seamlessly weaves together the calming essence of yoga with the revitalizing energy of Qigong, providing a transformative experience.

Learn to circulate energy through intentional breathing exercises while gently moving, which helps improve flexibility and joint health as well as alleviate pain.

Embrace the season as we connect mind, body, and nature at Kestrel’s headquarters, aligning with the beauty of the Mt. Holyoke Range and Plum Brook Pond.

Newcomers and experienced practitioners alike are welcome to come to one, two, or all three classes. Attendance at all three classes is not required. Registration is per event and will be available as each upcoming class is announced.
